What is mock trial?

Mock Trial is a competitive activity in which we simulate criminal and civil trials, playing the roles of both attorneys and witnesses. Each year, we receive a fictional case from the American Mock Trial Association, and it’s our job to craft arguments and act out both sides of the case. After we prepare our case, we compete against other collegiate teams and receive feedback on our performance from real attorneys and judges. We travel across the country to compete and form lifelong friendships with fellow competitors in the process!
